Sapana is an Associate at WTI Advisors, assisting in trade and investment facilitation projects through research and analysis of non-tariff barriers and domestic regulatory frameworks. She is a Nepal Bar-qualified lawyer and a member of the High Court, Patan, Nepal. Prior to joining WTI Advisors, she worked as a Consultant with South Asia Watch on Trade, Economics and Environment (SAWTEE), gaining expertise in trade policy analysis, intellectual property, bilateral and regional trade, informal trade in South Asia, and SME/MSME access to finance. As a National Consultant for the International Trade Centre (ITC) under the EU-Nepal Trade and Investment Programme (TIP), she contributed to the development of general and sector-specific export guides by analysing the implications of Nepal’s LDC graduation on exports under the EU’s GSP scheme, including regulatory compliance, tariffs, and non-tariff measures. She brings four years of experience from a leading corporate law firm, with expertise in investment, energy, and intellectual property law.
