This year’s WTO Public Forum ("Powering the Future") is all about trade in services - and we couldn’t agree more with the choice: Cutting edge work on services trade and services regulation has been a central feature of our advisory business for the past 20+ years.
So of course WTI Advisors will be there in force, and of course we will contribute: Across three days in Geneva, WTI Advisors is involved in three sessions, and will also operate an information counter in the Atrium on the EU’s pioneering information platform “My Trade Assistant for Services and Investment.”
WTI Advisors is organising what we hope will be (1) a very interesting working session on testing tomorrow's rules through regulatory sandboxes and special zones, and our Directors are speaking in two others, on (2) making services market access real through domestic regulation, and on (3) closing the information gap that holds services trade back.
